Simple Security Installation

Fortifying your entryway can be accomplished in minutes using basic hand tools:

1. Position the Guard: Close the door and align the ILP 206 protector over the edge of the door face, ensuring it is vertically centered directly over your lock's latch bolt.

2. Mark and Pilot: Verify that the guard covers the gap completely while allowing the door to swing open freely without binding against the stop. Mark the mounting holes and drill small pilot holes into the door face.

3. Lock Down the Shield: Fasten the plate to the door face using the provided one-way security screws. Once driven in, the one-way heads prevent intruders from simply unscrewing your physical defense from the outside.
