The Adams Rite MS1850S Hookbolt Deadlock is a maximum security deadbolt solution designed for narrow‑stile aluminum doors in commercial and institutional settings. Featuring a hook‑shaped bolt, this deadlock resists forced entry attempts by preventing door separation or pry attacks at the jamb — perfect for heavy‑use storefronts, offices, and facilities where security matters most.
Built with an eight‑ply laminated stainless steel bolt and rugged steel case, the MS1850S‑450 offers excellent corrosion resistance and long service life. Operated by a 360° turn of a key or thumbturn, the hookbolt projects or retracts smoothly, while a non‑handed design simplifies installation. This unit accepts standard mortise cylinders with MS cams (sold separately) for flexible door hardware configurations.
