The Adams Rite MS1850 Series Deadbolt delivers maximum security for narrow stile aluminum doors with its rugged laminated stainless steel bolt and durable construction. Designed for commercial storefronts, offices, and institutional entries, this deadbolt resists forced entry thanks to its multi‑layer laminated bolt with alumina‑ceramic core, providing exceptional strength in high‑traffic environments.
Operated by a 360° turn of a key or thumbturn, the counterbalanced bolt projects or retracts smoothly, and the key can only be removed when the bolt is fully locked or unlocked. This deadlock accepts standard mortise cylinders with MS‑style cams (cylinders and thumbturn sold separately) and installs easily in doors with common backset options.
